The delegation consisting of the Turkish Surgical Society Qualification Board members visited the Department of General Surgery of Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine to evaluate whether the residency program is suitable for international standards. As a result of this evaluation, the Department of General Surgery was accepted as proper and sufficient in terms of "Resident Training" and was entitled to receive the Accreditation Certificate. The Accreditation Certificate will be given at the 22nd National Surgery Congress on March 23-27, 2022.
